P92 Steel
A335 P92 alloy tube, P92 material is American steel number ASTM A335 P92, which is martensitic heat-resistant steel.
92 steel is based on P91 steel, and the content of Mo element is appropriately reduced. At the same time, a certain amount of W is added to increase the molybdenum equivalent (Mo + 0.5W) of the material from 1% of P91 steel to about 1.5%. The steel is also added with a small amount of boron. After the above alloying improvement, compared with other commonly used heat-resistant steels of 9% Cr series, its high temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance are similar, but the high temperature strength and creep performance are greatly improved. Compared with P91 steel, P92 steel has a 30% higher endurance strength at 600 ℃. In order to improve the thermal efficiency of modern coal-fired generating units, the generating units must be operated at higher temperature and pressure parameters, and a large number of P92 seamless steel pipes are required.
